The East Window
will sell our house
with neither pool
nor ubiquitous backsplash,
granite counters — headstones interrupted,
or stainless steel
appliances.
The wood floors
are lovely, but
add to the darkness
that pervades throughout
except for the dawn
streaming through
our East window.
