George E. Smith is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and the University of Arizona in Tucson. He worked as a mining geologist and business consultant. George's current primary interest is the developmental history of the American Southwest during the 1890 to 2010 period when the U.S. was becoming a world power. He now resides at Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix.
