Look, I like vitamins, minerals, and other supplements. They are not magic, but they can, used as "supplements" help fill in nutritional blanks, and, in some cases, even be used to "treat" or prevent some conditions of ill health. However, one of the first sources for any nutrient should probably be a food which contains the nutrient.
