Living in the Good Ole U.S.A.

Every Thursday afternoon, Ruth Strickland, 80, rides a bus to the Cary Senior Center, where she spends her afternoon knitting blankets and writing out Bible verses for veterans.

With a son who is a former marine, she says she's most grateful to be living in the U.S.

"I know we have a lot of problems, but hopefully we can work them out," Strickland says.
