A Whizbang Education

A Whizbang Education

"I'm most grateful for my education. I have a whizbang education. I went to school a lot and I also taught school. I just think that was the place for me. I just loved being in school. I got one degree in secondary education and human development and the second one was guidance and counseling. I would have been a guidance counselor if I had chosen to be one. I just thought it was interesting. They paid for it. I didn't pay for any of that. And it was cool. That's why I enjoy doing all these kinds of things because it's what I like to do."

Brenda Wiles, 72, of Cary, North Carolina, enjoys making pottery and learning.
