Pillows of Thanks

Pillows of Thanks

Whenever I think of Thanksgiving, I can't help but think of my Grandmother's potato rolls.

My mother always says they remind her of baby bottoms. To me, the rolls remind me of being a child watching Grandma rush around the kitchen, surrounded by metal mixing bowls covered with brightly colored kitchen towels, ensuring that every bit of dough was rising perfectly.

Even though our family is separated and across the country from one another, I know that we are still experiencing the holiday together, thanks to these rolls an our Grandma.
