True Happiness

True Happiness

"When you reach a place in your life where you feel happy and content with the things you're doing or have done, with the things around you and the people that you love. It's not the goals you attain or the goals we put just out of reach but still keep reaching for. Some of these we can attain, and some we can't. But the measure of success is to be truly happy with your accomplishments, with what you're doing at the time and with the people you love."

Joyce Jernigan Williams, 78, is an artist, poet and mother living in Dunn, North Carolina, with her dog Yogi.
